The Baking comp

On the 29-11-17 our class (ROOM ONE) had a baking competition. The whole class had to get into a group of 5. My group was Charli, TARA, Kim, Olivia, and Charles. My group ( HALF of my group) decided to make carrot muffins.

This week we had to write a descriptive text using an image as a prompt. My mark was 3b. I am very pleased with my mark, next time I will improve mine with more paragraphs. This was my descriptive writing...

It is a nice warm night in France and I am sitting with my friends on some tables. In the background are people, hoses, moon, stars, trees, and shops. The girls and I are waiting for our tea!Two of the girls are talking while the other girls are waiting nicely and so am I.

Here comes our food! Oh my it looks so yum! There is Eiffel tower cookies, A hot chocolate, a healthy salad, one bar of chocolate, a cupcake and a wrap!

Wow after that meal I am so ready for dessert and here is the menu! Oh have I told you that the girls and I are going on a trip around the world? Are you? of course you are I am just joking around with you!

Yesterday our class did some art and we wrote a story to it. It was very fun and arty with all of the, cutting, writing, drawing and painting!!

Once man, Woman and Children came to an Island. They made a meeting spot and spears. Two men decided that this would be their home and told the others. When night fell the people heard thumbing and they came out to see and it was a Kangaroo. After they saw the Kangaroo they made a boomerang.

Wow Athletics was on Thursday even thought I didn't to half of it I still had fun! I only did the throwing. How sad is that :(

Cereal Box Art

Last week we made cereal box canvas art. We had  to do a symbol of the Holy Spirit. I did a Dove!
STEPS
1: first you had to take the box apart
2: then you have to put it back together but inside out!
3: after that you have to mix pva glue and baby powder together and when it is ready put it on really how you want to but NOT the back.
4: when it is dry you paint the background
5: after when the background is dry you paint the symbol that you chose for the holy spirit on the box.
6: next you hang it in your home
